what is the concept of Imamah?
Imamah refers to the divinely-appointed leadership of the Muslim community (Ummah) after the Prophet Muhammad's death, vested in a line of Imams who are considered his rightful successors. These Imams are believed to possess divine knowledge and authority, and are part of the Ahl al-Bayt, the Prophet's family.
